The Spencer County Historical Society uses the Spencer County Public Library address and phone for contact purposes. The Genealogy Room has many books, local newspaper microfilm, and other materials related to genealogy and history of the county. It is also the place where Society meetings are held.

Research or genealogy questions should be sent to the Genealogy Department of the Rockport Library.

The Spencer County Historical Society does accept donations or contributions. The Society is a 501(c)(3) organization. Donations should be mailed to the above address.
